Valerie’s career as a classroom teacher, assistant principal, beginning teacher coordinator for a school district, mentor, mentor program creator, and principal have allowed her to serve the state of North Carolina in many leadership capacities.

Her passion for servant leadership has served her well. She considers it an honor to positively impact the lives of others, helping them to reach their goals while making valuable contributions to society.

Valerie is a licensed principal, a certified professional life coach, and a certified resilience educator to name a few of her professional areas of expertise. She is also an ordained minister. She also is a member of the John Maxwell Leadership Team.

Valerie has a Bachelor of Science Degree, a Masters’ Degree and is currently completing her Doctorate in Educational Leadership.
